First Class to Support NCAEMSA in Asheville August 3rd & 4th

Once again, First Class Emergency Vehicles personnel will be attending the North Carolina Association of Emergency Medical Services Administrators (NCAEMSA) Summer Leadership Symposium. Don’t miss the generator-powered Excellance ambulance on Freightliner’s M2 chassis built down the road in Mt. Holly, N.C.

Find us after the golf tournament Wednesday, August 3 at the 6-8 p.m. Social in the Renaissance ballroom and then again throughout the day on Thursday, August 4.

Excellance provides a custom line of ALS, critical care and specialty transport vehicles. Each unit is hand built in Huntsville, Alabama, and are one of the strongest and safest ambulances available. Each ambulance module carries a 25-year structural warranty. Excellance uses basic and proven electrical systems to eliminate the common parts and repair problems that create “out of service” time.

This 2016 Excellance unit is built on a Freightliner M2 business class chassis with Cummins diesel power and Allison automatic transmission. The ambulance module is powered by a Stadco water-cooled diesel generator unit and the climate control system is a built-in Dometic wall mounted unit so there is no A/C unit sticking out of the roof. This unit is typical of the large advanced life support and specialty transport units used by large health care systems across the country. Don’t miss seeing it up close.
